Description

Camdeboo Lodge is an attractive homestead in the architectural style of the South African farmhouse with green roofs, white walls and large verandahs. The Lodge is situated some 800m from the gates of Hilton College, idyllically set in peaceful farmlands and forests with beautiful views across the valleys over Howick village to the distant Drakensberg. The Lodge has four comfortably large and, individually decorated en-suite bedrooms with French-doors leading onto their own patios. All rooms offer television. The guest rooms are separated from the main house by a large covered verandah where, weather permitting, guests may have breakfast. The large lounge with a well-stocked courtesy bar for your exclusive use leads into the dining room. These rooms are for the sole enjoyment of the guests and are not shared by the family. The full English breakfast is inclusive and on prior request dinner can be served at an additional fee.

Braai facilities are available on the verandah. Camdeboo Lodge is ideally situated for parents, relatives and friends visiting children at the nearby schools. For the business sector, the Lodge offers privacy and tranquillity with excellent conference facilities at nearby Hilton College. These facilities can be arranged by us or directly through the Fleur-de-Lys Club. For bridal couples establishment serve a special champagne breakfast in bed. Shoppers can browse contently in Hilton village and at the Quarry shopping centres, which are situated some 6km from the Lodge. There are doctors, dentists, and chemists within these environs. The Lodge is 15 minutes from the centre of Pietermaritzburg. For the tourist, Camdeboo Lodge offers the ideal base for trips throughout the Midlands and historic sites in KwaZulu-Natal. Unique tours to the battlefields with a world-renowned operator can be arranged.
