Cleopatra is a gourmet getaway with five luxurious en suite double/twin rooms, 3 spacious suites with queen beds and separate lounges and one luxury suite with extra long queen bed, his and hers bathrooms, dressing room and fireplace in the lounge.
The lounge and dining room are cantilevered over a trout-filled dam, which looks across the water to the stunning mountains. An underground wine cellar - well stocked with South African premier wines. Guests are offered personal attention and a chance to relax in comfort in the country. Canoes and a raft allow for a closer look at the trout-stocked lake adjacent to the lounge and dining room of the Main building. There are walks on the property with river frontage. Fishing, birding and hiking in the vicinity. No children under 12 permitted.

Two sumptuous executive cottages individually decorated, each has an open

separate loo. Private verandah with a view onto the wetlands where antelope
and cranes frequent. 
The collection of interesting antiques complements the beautifully
restored farmhouse, stables and other outbuildings.
CUISINE: Our menu changes every evening according to the seasons and
availability of our local produce. Dinner is a sumptuous 5 course affair
with no effort or expense spared to give our guests a memorable dining
experience. Breakfasts are not the run of the mill but are unusual and
exciting. Lunch is by arrangement - a picnic basket can be organised
