The Drakensberg Boys' Choir School is located in the central Drakensberg, KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. In 1967 the Tungay family started Choir School which was built around the original farm buildings. "Ma" Tungay was the first Principle and Russel later took over from her until 1981 when the School was formed into a Section 21 Company and the running of it was taken over by the Parent Body.

We are very proud of The Drakensberg Boys' Choir School which is located next to Dragon Peaks Mountain Resort. The Boys' of the Drakensberg Boys' Choir are the "The Singing Ambassadors of South Africa".

They have created a new trend in the international choral scene that transcends the conventional. A unique style of diversity - Bach, Beethoven, Freddy Mercury, African sounds, Jazz, Folk, etc. - whatever the style, they perform it with excellence and aplomb

The Drakensberg Choir School offers visitors a concert most Wednesdays at 15h30 and hosts the arts inspired "Music in the Mountains" and "Festive Celebration" concerts in April and December respectively!
