Founded in 2001, Giverny Creative Country Holidays is now visited by hundreds of people each year. The organisation is dedicated to inspiring creative thought in children and adults. Giverny is firmly on the calendars of several schools that send their children to them for exposure to a range of creative activities heavily based on arts and craft. We host, present and facilitate courses, workshops and gatherings in creative expression for children and adults. This is often through the medium of arts and craft but not exclusively so - we are into all creative expression. Givery's spacious multipurpose studio is set in stunning country surroundings. They are members of the Midlands Meander and draw some of our own inspiration from the superb artists and crafts people who share their neighborhood. Did you know that you do not have to have "talent" to enjoy creative pursuits? Not all visual art is a realistic representation of a particular subject matter. Hey! anyone can paint it does not matter if you believe that you do not have any ability to express yourself visually on paper. You can - everyone can. All artists, beginners to maestros will grow by attending a workshop or course at Giverny All media; watercolour, oil painting, pastel, drawing. We practise our colour, line, texture, shapes, composition and paint application are covered at Giverny Creative Holidays. Activities are big at Giverny. Some of these are therapeutic clay work - to touch your inner being and free it. Mask making - we make plaster of Paris masks of each other's faces. Screen printing (silk screening) - on T-shirts and table cloths Printing, tie-dyeing, painting on cloth Creative crazy mosaics - on a slab on the floor or a wall Weaving - with multicoloured fabrics - a dream carpet to take you off. Team Building Are you looking for a team building activity for a corporate group? Giverny has a novel approach - no rafting, no abseiling, no game viewing. Their team building revolves around creative activities It doesn't matter who you are everyone can be creative (no one will judge you). And in a way that traditional team building activities can never do, their creative teambuilding gets the imagination going. School Trips A real speciality of Giverny Creative Country Holidays is the school trips. The nurturing of the creative mind in a child can instil an inventive style of thinking that will remain with him or her for life.
