Situated between Champagne Sports Resort and Champagne Castle Hotel, very close to the Drakensberg Boys Choir School. This AA award backpackers has an exceptionally serene and tranquil setting amongst indigenous gardens on 50 acres of lush grassland.

Guests enjoy lovely views of the mountains, abundant birdlife and a "reservoir swimming pool"! Hiking, horseriding, restaurants shops and golf can be enjoyed in the valley within a 5 minute drive away.

4 new Rondawel huts each with a double bed and bathroom en suite.

4 huts with a double bed but are not en suite share the communal ablution facilities.

Rooms in main building have either a double bed or a double bed and a bunk bed. Only one room is en suite. There are 2 dormitories, each sleep 6 people. Separate indoor ablutions.

Communal kitchens with self-catering facilities. Braai facilities available.

Day and night hikes can be arranged. Free shuttles to trails in the valley and "Bazz bus" pick-ups. Meals are offered.
