Rustic 2-sleeper log cabins, 1km away from the lodge in the mountain, provide a secluded getaway, yet close enough to enjoy the activities should you want to. The log cabins are fully equipped but do not have electricity, they are gas operated. And then there is magnificent Mthini Lodge complete with wooded deck overlooking the main dam, grazing game, horses, cattle and the mountains beyond. Activities include tubing on fast-flowing rivers (in summer), swimming in pools fed by waterfalls, birding, mountaineering or abseiling and game drives where tame eland will approach you. Horse rides and bushman rock art all come second to their tame otter, Nimrod!
