Situated in the charming, picturesque village of Clarens in the Eastern Free State, San Rock Guest House sets the standard for superior accommodation. Set within a lush 3000 sq. metre garden with spectacular mountain views, the following modern facilities are offered:

Main House (self catering)

Enormous kitchen with state-of-the-art facilities, including oven, hob (gas stove), microwave and dishwasher. Open-plan, large lounge with satellite television (DSTV)

Separate dining room with 8-seater table. The double-sided fireplace between lounge and dining room (wood supplied) makes for cosy winter evenings. Enjoy balmy evenings on the undercover patio area with fan and built-in barbeque/braai (wood supplied), enjoying both the garden and mountain views. Main bedroom suite with private upstairs patio, full bathroom and satellite television (DSTV); Two further bedrooms with a full bathroom and separate toilet. An additional guest toilet is situated off the entrance hall. Luxuriously appointed twin beds, linen and towels are provided in all rooms. Under-floor heating and fans throughout.

Guest Suite (self catering)

The separate, very popular, guest suite comprising bedroom, kitchenette (microwave, sink, fridge, etc.) and full bathroom may be booked separately or as part of the main house.  It has its own entrance as well as double doors onto its private patio looking onto the mountain. Satellite TV (DSTV) is provided. Luxuriously appointed twin beds, linen and towels are, provided. Under-floor heating throughout.

The Loft (self catering)

The Loft is, quite simply, spectacular and may be used as a romantic honeymoon suite. Totally separate from the Main House, it offers in excess of 60 square metres of accommodation comprising king-size bed, bedroom/lounge with open-plan fully equipped kitchen and a full bathroom. Early morning breakfast and sundowners on the patio are greeted by breathtaking vistas of the mountains of Clarens and the Maluti's of Lesotho, as well as the village with its famous church and bell tower below. Satellite TV (DSTV) is provided. Under-floor heating and fan.
