This premier secondary school for girls grades 8-12, is situated on a beautiful 32ha estate in the heart of Hilton.  St Anne's offers a unique education and living expereince.

Founded in 1877, St Anne's has a long tradition in education. It is a girls' boarding school with approximately 390 pupils in Grades 8 - 12, who are accommodated in six houses. The school's thirty two hectares of grounds provide for sports facilities and a beautiful learning and living environment.

Because the College is comparatively small, pupils have every opportunity to develop as individuals and in areas where they show potential. Education standards are high and the results obtained in the Senior Certificate Examinations have shown St Anne's to be one of the leading schools in South Africa.

Interests outside the classroom are well catered for. In addition to music and organised sport, the girls may choose from a variety of clubs. Interaction with Hilton College and Michaelhouse forms an integral part of the year's activities.

Including such functions as social days or evenings, debates, dramatic productions and various other gatherings. The School Concert Band draws its members from both Hilton College and St Anne's and its high performances are enjoyed at various venues during the year.

The school choir makes an important contribution to the daily chapel services, which are often led by the girls themselves. Indeed the school motto: "Res Non Verba, Crux Non Vis" (Deeds Not Words, The Cross, Not Violence) brings into focus the Christian ethic that underlies the education at St. Annes.

St Anne's Diocesan college has been registered as a Non-Profit Organisation (no:021-161-NPO). The College has registered its documentation in compliance with the Access to Information Act.
