The Bend Country House, set in a Private Nature Reserve of over 3,500 acres in the foothills of the Drakensberg.

The Bend is a place of striking natural beauty, magnificent scenery, an abundance of both bird life and game, extensive indigenous forests and the lovely Mooi River, who's waters are rich with wild trout.

It is in this setting that you are able to practice outdoor pursuits ranging from the gentile art of fly fishing and birding to hiking, horse riding, mountain biking and paragliding. The Victorian style Bed & Breakfast accommodation comprises 8 en-suite bedrooms, a cosy pub, fine food and warm hospitality.

The wedding venue can seat 140 and has a wooden viewing deck with picnic benches outside. The chapel is of a rustic appearance and has a stained glass door entrance.
